Privacy policy
How Repeat handles your data: what, why, with whom and for how long.
In short
- We only ask for what we need. Most of the time, that is just your email.
- We only use your data for what you asked for.
- We never sell or hand over your data. This site uses no cookies and does not track you.
- You can see, correct or delete your data, and leave any list, whenever you like: just send an email.
Who is responsible
Repeat Snacks is not an incorporated company yet. Until it is, the person responsible for your data is its founder, Filipe José Sequeira Leal, as an individual.
For anything about your data, write to hello@repeatsnacks.com.
What data we handle, and why
Each situation has its own rules. We only handle the data of a situation if you did what starts it, for example, signing up.
“I want to try it”: the first tastings, the launch and our news
- Data
- Your email, the site language and the form you used to sign up.
- Why
- Choosing the first people to taste it, sending you the invitation if you are one of them, telling you about the launch and sending you news from Repeat.
- Legal basis
- Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form and confirmed in an email we send you (GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)).
- Who else handles it
- Brevo, which keeps the list and sends the emails; Cloudflare, which hosts the site and the form.
- How long
- Until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email.
If we ask for your name and region
- Data
- Your name and the region where you live.
- Why
- Choosing tasters from different regions and organising the delivery of samples.
- Legal basis
- Your consent: you only fill it in if you want to (GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)).
- Who else handles it
- Google (Google Workspace), where your reply arrives; and Brevo, where we add it to your sign-up.
- How long
- Your name stays with your subscription until you unsubscribe. Your region is deleted after 6 months.
Sending samples
- Data
- Your name, delivery address and, if the courier asks for it, your phone number.
- Why
- Sending you the samples, if you are one of the people selected.
- Legal basis
- Your request: we need this data to send you what you asked for (GDPR, art. 6(1)(b)).
- Who else handles it
- CTT Correios de Portugal, which deliver the samples.
- How long
- We delete the address 30 days after delivery.
Reviews from people who tried it
- Data
- Your name, town, occupation (if you give it), your review and ratings, and any photos or videos you send us.
- Why
- Learning from your experience to improve the product. And, only with your permission, showing it on this site.
- Legal basis
- Your consent (GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)). Before we publish your name, your image or your review, we ask for your written permission, for each thing we show.
- Who else handles it
- The channel you write to us on (for example WhatsApp or email) and Cloudflare, which hosts the site.
- How long
- We publish it for as long as you keep your permission. If you withdraw it, we take it down within 14 days. We keep the proof of permission while the review is published and for up to 3 years after.
Our free guides
- Data
- Your email and the page or video you came from.
- Why
- Sending you the guide you asked for (for example, “5 truques para escolher melhor”). Where you came from only goes into total counts, so we learn which content brings people to us.
- Legal basis
- Your request (GDPR, art. 6(1)(b)).
- Who else handles it
- Brevo, which sends the guide; Cloudflare, which hosts the page.
- How long
- We do not keep your email on a list: it only serves to send you the guide. Brevo keeps the technical record of the sent email for 1 month, then deletes it. If you also ask for our news, “News from Repeat” applies.
News from Repeat
- Data
- Your email, your name (if you give it to us) and how you found us (for example, a guide or a video).
- Why
- Sending you news about the product, recipes and launches. You get our news if you sign up for “I want to try it” or ask for it in one of our guides.
- Legal basis
- Your consent, with double opt-in: we only start writing once you confirm in an email (GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)).
- Who else handles it
- Brevo.
- How long
- Until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email. If you unsubscribe from one of our news emails, you can tell us why if you like, by picking one of five reasons. After that, we keep your address on a suppression list, only so we never write to you again, and your reason, if you give one, so we can learn what to improve.
We measure email opens and clicks only in total, without knowing who opened or clicked what.
When you write to us
- Data
- Your email, your name and what you write.
- Why
- Replying to you.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (GDPR, art. 6(1)(f)). If you tell us about an allergy or coeliac disease, that is health information: we use it only to reply, based on the explicit consent you give by sending it (GDPR, art. 9(2)(a)). Please only tell us what is needed.
- Who else handles it
- Google, through Google Workspace, which hosts our email. If you use the form on the legal notice, also Cloudflare, which runs the form and the check against automated programs, and Brevo, which delivers the message to us and keeps the technical record of the sending for 1 month.
- How long
- As long as the conversation needs, and at most 12 months. Health information is deleted once your question is answered.
When we count visits
- Data
- Which pages are viewed, where visits come from (for example, a video or a search), the country and the type of device and browser. We also count how many guide requests and sign-ups there are, without knowing whose they are, and how many times the buttons to save or share the guide's card are used. Nothing that identifies you.
- Why
- Learning which content is useful and improving the site.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (GDPR, art. 6(1)(f)).
- Who else handles it
- Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia), with servers in Germany.
- How long
- Only totals remain, with no personal data. The IP address is used only to count unique visitors within a single day and is not stored.
When you visit the site
- Data
- IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time.
- Why
- Making the site work and protecting it from abuse.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in a secure, working site (GDPR, art. 6(1)(f)).
- Who else handles it
- Cloudflare.
- How long
- A short time, only for security and troubleshooting.
Who we share data with
We never sell or hand over your data. We only share it with the services that help us do what is described above, which handle it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): lists and email sending.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): hosting of the site and forms, and the check against automated programs.
- Google (Google Workspace): our email.
- Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia): counting visits, with servers in Germany.
- CTT Correios de Portugal: delivery of samples.
Data outside the European Union
Cloudflare and Google may handle data in the United States. Both take part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as adequate protection. Brevo stores data only in the European Union, in France, Germany and Belgium.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. To count visits, we use a tool that works without cookies and without personal data (see “When we count visits”). We use no advertising pixels and nothing that follows you from site to site. The font and the videos come from the site itself.
The forms have a check against automated programs, from Cloudflare (Turnstile). It only starts when you use a form and stores nothing on our site. To tell a person from a program, Cloudflare uses technical data from your browser and connection, such as your IP address, only to detect and stop automated programs.
The links to Instagram and TikTok take you to those platforms; from there, their rules apply.
If we start using another tool, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before anything runs.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere. You can withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect what we did before. Just write to hello@repeatsnacks.com: we reply within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt), or the one in the country where you live. The authority competent for the controller, who lives and works in Bavaria (Germany), is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA).
Minimum age
The forms and lists on this site are for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we update this page before the change happens. If the change is important, we also tell you by email.

Os nossos guias gratuitos
- Dados

9.º, n.º 2, a)).
